Contact Info — Name, Phone Number
Why collected: to create the account, address the student by name during lessons, and contact the parent about progress, schedule and support.
User Content — Photos or Videos, Audio Data, Other User Content (messages)
Why collected: this is the lesson itself — the student types, records voice messages, and sends photos of completed tasks so the AI tutor can explain topics and check answers.
Identifiers — User ID, Device ID
Why collected: to identify the account and device, run the app, and deliver push notifications.
Usage Data — Product Interaction
Why collected: to save learning progress and adapt lessons to the student.
Diagnostics — Crash Data, Performance Data, Other Diagnostic Data
Why collected: to detect and fix errors and keep the app stable.
How the AI tutor uses data
To generate lesson responses and check answers, the student's first name and the text of the lesson dialogue (including transcriptions of voice messages) are sent to third-party AI services — OpenAI API and Google Gemini API. This is the only data shared with third parties, and it exists to make the tutoring work. Original audio recordings and original images are not sent to these services; they are processed on the operator's own servers.
Account deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing info@onay-oqu.kz. The request is processed within the period established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
